Rating:

Alcazaba had been built on a previous Roman site by ‘Abd Allah ibn Kulaib’ in the year 835, for ‘Abd ar-Rahman ibn al-Hakam’. Such a stronghold goes on to overlook Guadiana River; along with Roman Bridge which adjoins it. Alcazaba had extended its contribution to having safeguarded the entire area as it had been constructed along ‘Christian Border’ with ‘Islamic Southern Spain’.
