Tourist Guide La Coruña
La Coruna is a city in the northern part of Spain and is found in the Galicia region. Area wise it ranks second in that part. This city is also the administrative head of the ‘La Coruna’ province. This name was derived because a towering structure exists here and means the ‘Tower of Hercules.' It also has a leading port here based on the name of the city itself. The port is based at the entrance of a large gulf towards the Atlantic. The Coruna is mostly built up on the debris that was collected near the rivers. Formerly, it used to be a part of a small strip of land but it has exceeded its boundaries. The climate is heavily humid as affected by the presence of the Atlantic Ocean. The rainfall is adequate but the winters can be disturbing as there are unpredicted winds and sometimes storms. Agriculture has greatly developed here. The main language of the people here is Spanish. The population stands at around 13, 575.
