Tourist Guide Melide
Melide is a beautiful small town in the heart of Galicia, Spain. During the summer months, this city is mostly crowded as during this time of the year, the Santiago de Compostela pilgrimage event occurs.
Here one can get to see few churches and a local museum having ethnographical and archeological exhibitions. Also known as “Terra de Melide”, this region includes the Coto do Pilar, which is the highest point in La Coruna with a height of 803 meters.
There are also many archaeological remains here from the Neolithic period and the hill fort culture, worth looking at in the Terra de Melide Museum.
