Getting around the city of Ibiza is comparatively easy, due to its reliable transportation system.
The city centre offers good a bus network and local railway.
The efficient Ibiza Airport is considered to be one of Spain's busiest airports.
The bus-links are excellent with small towns and village areas well served. However, bus services are less frequent during weekends. The buses are usually single-decker and orange in colour.
Car services provide alternative travelling option while scooters are also quite popular with the locals and travellers. The scooters are easily affordable and accessible.
The taxis also provide a good way to travel around Ibiza. The meters is started with a basic fare; however additional charges can be added for luggage and night time driving.
The city also has ferry services to travel to the Balearic islands. There are services between large towns and the harbours of Menorca, Mallorca, and Ibiza.
