Logrono city is situated in North of Spain on the Ebro River. This city is the capital of the La Rioja autonomous community. The city was formerly known as Logrono Province. It is said that this city was once an old settlement of the Romans at first followed by Celts.
As per the 2006 estimates, the population of Logrono was 147,036 inhabitants. In 2008, the population reached to 150,071 people.
Noted as the centre of the trade in Rioja wine, Logrono also produces metal, wood and textile products. It is the shopping and financial capital of La Rioja.
Logrono is situated in the north region of La Rioja and 384 miles above sea level. It is 152 kilometers to Balibao with an area of 79.57 square kilometers.
Some of the famous festivals held here are San Bernabe, celebrated on June 11th and San Mateo festival celebrated between September 20 and 26th. The cultural festival is filled with theater, art and music.
