Casa de Las Ciencias de Logrono is housed in a building which was the old municipal slaughterhouse in the city. The house was built by architect, Luis Barron, a project architect along with Gomez Escolar. The museum opened in 1910, and is known as one of the finest examples of industrial architecture in Logrono. After it got renovated, it opened in 1999.
