Museo Nacional de Cencias Naturales is a natural science museum situated at Calle Jose Gutierrez Abascal, 2 28006 in Madrid and is open daily from 10 to 6 except on Mondays.
There are more than six million varieties of fauna and aims to promote a greater awareness of the diversity of the natural world.
There are some amazing permanent exhibits which one can view here such as the Royal museum which takes one back to the past with its historical collections, the Stone Garden with its open air collection of rocks and tree trunks, the history of the earth and life which depicts the replica of a Diplodocus, Mediterranean nature and civilization which portrays the fauna and ecosystem of this area and more.
