Our Food and Wine Walking Tour in Madrid lets you taste the most representative foods and wines of Spain, walking and stopping at 3 traditional restaurants.
The first stop of our tour is at a historical tavern in La Latina, still unchanged since its founding and run for eighty years by the same family! In this must-see spot you will taste Valdepeñas, a traditional and very popular spanish wine, and Vermouth, an aromatized wine with herbs and spices. The two wines will be accompanied by Manchego Cheese, the most popular cheese in Spain, made of Manchega sheep´s milk.
The next stop of our Food and Wine Walking Tour is a Wine bar situated in Old Madrid and specialized in the real Jamón Ibérico de Bellota and its wine pairing, the pale Sherry or Fino.
The Jamón Ibérico is a cured ham produced only in Spain and Portugal, made of Black Iberian Pig. This first-quality ham is served with the most representative wine of Spain, the pale Sherry, also called Manzanilla.
We finish our tour with a stop at a restaurant situated in a XVII century aristocratic mansion in the heart of Old Madrid. In this cult spot for Spanish food lovers we will sample Cava, a Spanish champagne, with paella, Vintage Spanish red wines and other tapas. To end the dinner you will be served a Pedro Ximenez PX wine with delicious desserts!
