Transports in Valencia

Traveling in the city of Valencia is quite easy and comfortable without any extra stress on your pockets, unlike most other major European cities. The entire public transportation in the city is supported and administered by the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV) who manages the Valencia Metro, rail and bus services.

The Valencia metro is a reliable mode of traveling, enjoying its modern facilities which provides a great way to travel around the city. Another easy way to roam around the city is by means of train Transport.

There are frequent trains to Madrid, Alicante and Barcelona that depart from Estación del Norte on Calle de Játiva.

Avenida Menéndez Pidal is the main bus station in Valencia. They manage 12 bus-companies that go to all major cities in Spain while the EMT buses have 91 lines operating during the day-time and 7 operating during the night. Trams, rental cars, bikes, scooters and taxis are few other varied alternatives of the transport system in Valencia.
