There is never really a bad season to visit Spain. Spring and autumn, however are one of the better times to travel. Spring is the season for festivals, hence preferred. Spain is extremely crowded in the summer months of July and August.
Events and Entertainment
Spectacular events are a year-round feature in Spain. During Fiestas de Las Fallas, large papier mache effigies are built, paraded around Valencia, judged and then set afire. The town of Seville hosts two festivals—Semana Santa and Seville’s Feria de Abril—both being a photographer’s delight.
