With its rich cultural background, Sweden hosts several festivals over the year. Music festivals are very popular with the Swedes.
The Stockholm Gospel Choir Festival is three-day long and features performances and workshops with Swedish and American instructors. Smaka På Stockholm, or A Taste of Stockholm, celebrated over a week, culminates on the National Day of Sweden, 6 June. During this festival, Sweden’s best food, entertainment, culture and sports can be enjoyed.
With Sweden’s fast-growing beer industry, the Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival has become one of Europe’s leading beer festivals.
Skansen Lucia Day is a widely observed festival in Sweden during which Skansen, the open-air museum, bears witness to some of the most marvellous festivities.
