Gothenburg City Airport also referred to as Säve Flygplats or Göteborg City Airport is situated to the north west of Gothenburg in Sweden.
This is primarily a low cost airline airport and is operated and run by Cityflygplatsen i Göteborg AB.
The passenger traffic from the airport has gone up from nine thousand to more than five lakhs in the year 2005.
Because of the strategic location of the airport many business jets operate from here rather than the Landvetter airport.
The airport handles general aviation and has two flying clubs. The main passenger terminal has a simple aluminum roof with exposed bindings.
There are regular bus, taxi and car rental services operating from the airport however the taxis could cost a hefty sum of 200 to 300 SEK.
