The Goteborg City Museum displays antiques of history and present displays too and is situated in the Swedish East India Company’s vast office and warehouse building. This building was built during the mid 18th century. Some of the permanent exhibitions include the Askekarrsskeppet, which is the only ship from the Viking era on display. The museum also hosts many temporary exhibitions too.
