Avenyn was formally known as Kungportsavenyn and is a big parade street in Gothenburg city. Packed with restaurants, pubs, cafes, shops and nightclubs, Avenyn is the perfect place to visit if one wants to be seen. One can even stroll on a light summer evening whilst here. Created in late 19th century due to planning competition, the street is home to the Concert Hall, the City Theater and the Museum of Art.
