Tourist Guide Mölle
Mölle, located on the slopes of the hill above the Kattegat Strait, is a coastal town in the province of Skane in Sweden.
Being in the southernmost part of the country, this province receives a lot of rainfall and the summers are warm. The air in Mölle is clean and fresh due to fewer factories/industries and the offshore breeze which determines the air flow.
An active fishing village since the nineteenth century, the town residents made a fortune out of fishing and related activities. In the late 1800s, the town came to be known as a centre for ‘erotic entertainment’ and attracted a large number of foreign visitors too.
The harbour at Mölle, located on the Kattegat Strait, serves as an economic and social centre of the town and is also one of the busiest regions in the Baltic Sea. It has a population of about 700 inhabitants.
