The harbour is known for its scenic beauty and also provides facilities for fishing and water sports. One can also enjoy boat trips along the Kullaberg shore on the northern side. During summer, people come to the waterfront for walking, shopping, dining or simply to enjoy a refreshing dip in the cool waters.
Built above the harbour are two nineteenth-century hotels. There is also the Villa Itielenborg, a historic residence built in 1910, and the Villa Africa. Adjacent to the harbour is the Kullaberg Nature Reserve and the Kullen Lighthouse on the Kullaberg Peninsula, the brightest lighthouse in the country.
Mölle is a popular seaside resort and has therefore served as a venue for many technical and professional conferences such as the Swedish Network of European Economists, Joint Swedish-Russian International Workshop on Information Theory and the Royal Society (United Kingdom) of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.
