Nicodemus Tessin the younger was the architect of the splendid Royal Palace of Sweden which was completed in 1760.
It is thought to be one of the largest Royal palaces of the world with four sides – the eastern, western, southern and northern.
It is located on the Island of Stadsholmen in old Gamla Stan.
The Palace is guarded by the members of Swedish army known as Hogvakten.
