The city of Stockholm has a number of statues where one can take photographs as a memory of the place. Although formerly the museums in Stockholm were free to visit, the government has now introduced an entrance fee.
Norrmalmstorg is a fancy street with a number of shops and a market and is included in the Swedish version of the monopoly game. A walk along the water and a ride on the boat near this area is something one must plan.
The market at Hotorget includes a flea market where one can buy reasonable items of jewelry, clothes and antiques. The area around Kings Street provides the visitors with a choice of cinemas.
Do visit the Stockholm Archipelago if you get a chance as this is a breathtaking place with a collection of more than twenty four thousand islands which are home to some exotic birds and wildlife.
