A few Swedish terms may be of help while visiting Sweden.
Carry some coins as most of the restrooms in Sweden, including the airport, have a charge. Swedish people are very hard working and pride themselves on their open mindedness. Sweden has the maximum life expectancy and the classiest lifestyle.
The climate records show a large difference in temperature between the winter and summer months. Due to Sweden's northern geographical latitude it has twenty four hours of night during the winter and twenty four hours of day during summer months.
Smoking is prohibited in public places and while using public transport. Alcohol should be bought from the state run shops called Systembolaget. The emergency number for fire, police and ambulance is 112.
In Sweden it is customary to avoid drinks till they are offered by the host. There are different rail tickets options - two day, three day, seven day or monthly - for travelling throughout the country.
