The Hockey Spengler Cup is played each year in Davos. The Spengler Cup is known as the oldest European tournament for the club teams. In 1923, this cup was donated by Dr. Carl Spengler of Davos. The donation was done with an understanding that Austria and Germany would be able to represent themselves internationally with the best club teams. This tournament is held between Christmas and New Year’s Eve every year.
