At present Grindenwald is mostly based on tourism which actually represents its main income, though farming steadly supports its economy!
Both skiers and non skiers will enjoy the place a lot, so many and varied are the opportunities!
Amid the Wetterhorn, Mettenberg and Eiger, the centre is in a very strategical position to nose around the area and explore the nearby glaciers and the many natural beauties around it!
It is ideal to get relaxed, to enjoy or experience breathtaking adventures!
In the summer is nice have a walk in such an extraordinary landscape featuring glaciers and mountains, or practice water rafting or canyon jumping.
In the winter, such an extraordinary ski resort has actually a lot to offer, walk, hike, relax while enjoying a meal at one of its typical, mountain restaurants.
