Lake Lugano lies along the south-east region of Switzerland at the border between Switzerland and Italy.
Situated between Lago di Como and Lago Maggiore, the lake has been named after the city Lugano. The location of the lake within the surrounding mountains allows views of wild and natural landscapes.
The narrow pathway between the lake and the mountain is surrounded by villages and superb villas with bay trees and magnolias. The best viewpoints are offered from the lake.
The visitors can also enjoy the beauty through cruise tours. The tours operate numerous times through the day and makes stopovers in the main villages. So the visitors can sail around Morcote or stay ashore for a walk under the cypresses of the village.
The magnificent Baroque church is also worth visiting. The visitors will enjoy their walk around the coloured flowerbeds, along the shores of the lake.
