The Chateau is one of the famous structures in the Neuchatel city that has attracted many tourists to the Old Town region.

The work of the Collégiale church began in 1185 and to date it stands as a graceful illustration of early Gothic.

The stairs of the Chateau take you to the eastern region of the church. The east end is known for its three Norman apses.

The chief entrance is from the western end. This end is enclosed by a huge rose window of stained glass.

Within the magnificent interior, the central area within completes the whole.

The region is lit by a lantern tower and is enclosed by the unique Cenotaph of the Counts of Neuchâtel.

The monument features painted statues of different knights that are framed by gables and arches of the 15th century.

The tourists should also visit Tour des Prisons that offers excellent views of the entire town along with other interesting work from different eras.
