Tourist Guide Thun
Thun is a district in canton of Bern in Switzerland, located near where River Aar flows out of Lake Thun. Tourism is one of the major aspects of economic importance to Thun.
There are many attractions that draw in a large number of tourists to Thun from all over the Switzerland and abroad: The most famous out of which includes the 12th century castle with a historical museum depicting history of rural life and armors & weaponry in its different displays, the 16th century town hall- The Rathaus, Lake Thun and view of Bernese Alps, including Niesen, Jungfrau, Niederhorn and Stockhorn peaks, the Kunstmuseum Thun as well as the world’s oldest remaining panorama drawing, Wocher Panorama.
Along with the great historical sites one can also enjoy various sports such as soccer, hiking, swimming, orienteering, kayaking held time to time in Thun. This is an outdoor persons paradise and if you are sporty you will never get bored here!
