Antalya is popular for its beaches and many of the beaches have been awarded the blue flag in this region.
Adrasan and Phaselis are two of the beaches which are known for their ancient ruins and natural scenic beauty.
Side Incekum in the west and Patara in the east are two sand beaches which are quite popular.
Konyaalti is a pebble beach which is within the city boundary and which has been awarded the blue flag.
The beach has also undergone a lot of renovation and is now a hotspot for its bars and beach clubs. It also has the largest water park and a Dolphin land which is a favourite among children.
The several beaches to the west of Antalya are Hacimusa, Alara, Alanya, Lara, Belek, Ahmediye, Bicki, Meydani, Kumkoy and others.
The beaches to the east of Antalya include Topcam, Patara, Kaputas, Finike, Sarisu, Andrasan, Konyaalti and others.
Most of the beaches have a water sports centre where one can enjoy activities such as windsurfing, kayaking, parasailing, water skiing and more.
