Kielder Water is a huge man made reservoir, which is located in Northumberland County, in North East of England.

Attractions and things to do

Due to its size, the Kielder Water reservoir is the largest non-natural lake in the UK.

The lush green forest of Kielder surrounds this lake.

Visitors come here to experience the serene beauty of the lake as well as the forest around it.

The lake is an industrial marvel as well, due to its giant size. Visitors enjoy water sports like surfing on this lake.

One can enjoy fishing, sailing, kite surfing or water-skiing as well.

The bordering dense forest can be explored on foot or on horse back. Either way, visitors can see the enchanting beauty of this emerald green forest.

The wildlife in the forest consists of deer and red squirrels. Some rare and magnificent bird species can be seen in this park.

This is an excellent place for getting close to nature.
