Hadrian's Wall is an impressive monument extending throughout the whole North West region of England.

Those who are interested in historical sites must visit Hadrian's Wall in England.

The wall stretches from the Roman fort of Segedunum.

Thus, one end of this wall lies in Wallsend Town in Tyne and Wear County.

The wall extends further till the Solway Firth.

Most parts of this wall has been ruined over time. Visitors can see parts of the wall located in several places.

John Clyton, the town clerk of Newcastle, was the key person who saved this wall from further destruction.

According to the historical archive, this wall was built in 122 AD. by Hadrian, the Roman Emperor.

This is a perfect example of medieval construction that dates back to Roman times.
