Dartmoor National Park is the highest terrain in Devon County in England.

Dartmoor is an important historical site as it houses remains from the Bronze Age, which is largest of its kind in United Kingdom. It was listed as a national park in the year 1951.

This moor land has got its name from the River Dart. The park is home to several other rivers also like the Teign, Avon etc. This national park is a haven for nature lovers and adventure lovers alike. Dartmoor National park is a place of stunning scenic beauty. The park has numerous walking trails that add the element of fun and adventure to the holiday. Several stone formations can be found all along the park making the tour interesting. Some of the sites worth visiting are the Beardown Man, Challacombe and Laughter Tor. High Willhays is the highest point at the park and is worth a visit.
