Attractions

The Yorkshire and the Humber is one of the nine regions of England. It is bordered by the regions of North East, North West, East Midlands and the North Sea. The region comprises most of the Yorkshire County alongside a part of northern Lincolnshire. The western part of the Yorkshire region is a hilly area while the eastern part is mainly flat and has a low-lying terrain.

The people of Yorkshire are said to be immensely proud of their region. With legendary Iron Age hill-forts, rich legacies surrounding towering castles and forts and world-class performances and literature, the region has maintained a considerable influence over the culture of England.
