26 miles towards the east of London lies Basildon town in Basildon District of Essex county in England. Basildon is bounded by South Benfleet towards the east, Billericay towards the north and Wickford towards the northeast.
As per the 2001 census, the population of this town was 99,876. The residents of this town prefer to be called as ‘inmates.’ It is claimed that these people are one of the most polite people in the country.
