The Tattershall Castle is a medieval brick castle built in the 15th century by Ralph Cromwell. The castle has 6 floors and 150 steps from the basement to the battlements. One can explore the moats, bridges and grounds of the castle and view the grand landscapes of the Lincolnshire countryside. The basement was said to have been used as a dungeon for locking prisoners during the Civil War.
