Northampton Cathedral
It is a Roman Catholic Cathedral, it originates back to 1840s, it’s the time Of Bishop Wareing. It was formerly in a small house in one room, later as the number of worshippers increased, they had to shift it to a larger campus, that’s where the current cathedral stands. This is the seat of the Diocese of Northampton; it covers 3 counties, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire and also a part of Berkshire.
Cottesbrooke Hall & Gardens
This magnificent house dates back to the year 1702. The Cottesbrooke hall exhibits the furniture of the 18th centaury of England and France. The gardens are a pleasing view to the visitor’s eyes, the spectacular lily ponds and pools, and the outstanding double herbaceous boundaries. There are a large variety of specimen trees and fine Cedars, which must be more than 300 years old. These gardens have been incorporated in the recent century. It also contains a collection of Woolavingtons sporting pictures.
Althrop
This is the birthplace of Princess of Wales, Diana; it has gained world popularity after the tragic death of the beautiful princess. It was popular earlier for its stately homes, where the Family of Spencer’s have stayed for almost 5 centuries. The interiors of these stately homes are a work of art, the magnificent settings. Visitors can visit the island in the Round Oval; it is the resting place of the Princess of Wales. Along the mansion there is a Stable block which is in honey color, at one time 100 horses and 40 grooms can be kept in the stable. Along the mansion, there is a honey colored stable block which can house a 100 horses and 40 grooms at a time.
