Nottingham Airport or NQT lies in Tollerton Village in Nottingham. It is at about 3.5 miles away from the Nottingham city center.

This airport possesses two runways and serves for general aviation. One of the runways remains active at night as well. The airport was opened in 1930. Since then, it has undergone lots of changes.

The main entrance is located at the Tollerton Lane. From here, one can go towards the Control Tower's reception. The airport has only one flying club, which lies on the airport.

The plans of a third runway are underway. The airport will soon introduce air- taxi services. The flight will serve the domestic destinations on a frequent basis.

Since, the airport is located at close proximity from the city centre; tourists find it easy to reach the airport. All the local transportation services connect the airport with major spots in Nottingham.

Passengers can hire a taxi or board on a local bus to reach the airport and vise versa.
