The Wollaton Park is a part of the Wollaton Hall which is a country house. The enclosure of the Wollaton Park required the destruction the village of Sutton Passeys. This was enclosed by Henry Willoughby, 6th Baron Middleton with a huge seven mile red brick wall at the start of the nineteenth century. This park was originally 790 acres and due to land sales it got reduced to 500 acres of land. The Wollaton Park is home to a herd of Fallow Deer and Red Deer.
