Pelsall is an area of Walsall which is situated in the state of West Midlands, in the country of England. Bloxwich which is situated in Walsall occupies a large amount of suburban area of Pelsall. Previously the city was called by the name of Peolshalh, meaning 'a nook' or a Peol belonging to the lands between two streams. During the 19th centuries the city had constructed a wide-ranging common land as well as the Newlands with clusters of houses along the fringes.
There were a number of schools and the Methodist Chapel opened in the year 1836. At the end of the 19th century different kinds of shops and markets were established. The town has general election sections, it had adopted it from the year 2005 and it was won by Richard Shepherd with a great number of 5,507 votes. St Michael and All Angels are the parish churches which are the places of worship in Pelsall.
