There is something like thirty colleges in Cambridge. Actually, a visit to Cambridge isn't completed before paying a visit to at the most important ones, at least!
There are 3 colleges for women, namely Newnham, New Hall and Lucy Cavendish.
Darwin and Clare Hall instead take graduates only.
The rest of the colleges teach a variety of students from various walks of life.
Cambridge colleges have the best teaching system where students receive tuition in small groups and the university provides accommodation for all students.
Each college has its own sports facilities, library and some have entertainment venues like theatres as well.
Each college integrates the students from various disciplines and this encourages free exchange of ideas.
King’s College was formerly a men’s college but now takes admission from women as well. This undergraduate college has excellent computer facilities and a library with a variety of material.
There is a vast choice of accommodation, cafeteria service, sports facilities, music rooms and much more.
