Norwich Castle had been constructed by Normans to serve as a ‘Royal Palace’ around 9 centuries ago. Used in the form of a ‘prison’ from fourteenth century, this Castle went on to become a ‘museum’ in the year 1894. One would find amazing cravings in ‘stonework’ at the entrance. Besides, it houses collections of natural history, archaeology, and fine art. The visitors would also find paintings by ‘Norwich School of Artists’; along with the biggest collection pertaining to ceramic pots over here.
