Witley Court was one of the finest monuments built by Thomas Foley in 1655 near Great Witley. The court was later bought in 1837 by the Dudley family. An accidental fire in 1937 caused severe damage to the building which was then acquired by the government and is now under the care of the English Heritage. The Poseidon Fountain has been renovated and the structure has been used recently for shooting a BBC crime drama.
