Saint Albans lies to the south of Hertfordshire in England around thirty five kilometres from central London.
The population of the city is 64,038 and it is mostly suburban in character.
Also known as Verulamium by the Romans, the city was later named as Saint Albans after the British Christian martyr who was executed here. The Roman Heritage and the cathedrals attract many people to the city.
It has a lot to offer in terms of shopping, annual events and programs, a lively nightlife, pubs, restaurants, hotels and more. Besides which, the city is just about a half hour drive from central England.
The extreme climate makes the city hotter and drier in the summer and milder and wetter in the winter months.
