Notting Hill Carnival is an annual event which takes place on the streets of Notting Hill in London. It is held each year in the month of August for two consecutive days and has been the center of attraction since its conception in 1965. This event is led by the members of the Caribbean population, many of whom have lived here since 1950s. This amazing carnival attracts more than two million people in the past which makes it the second largest street festival in the world. Moreover, this carnival is the most vibrant celebration of color, sound and diversity. This event is a must see festival whilst in London.
