In general, London is a safe city but it is advisable to be cautious while visiting certain areas such as Peckham, Brixton, the north end of Notting Hill and Walthamstow.
All places in London accept the Pound Sterling but at some places, one can use Euros as well. There are a number of galleries and museums, which offer free entrance and have concerts and stage shows.
Be careful while dining, as you can end up paying a high price for ordinary food if you are not careful. Always carry warm clothes whatever season you travel in as the weather can turn quite cold. The streets have names and not numbers in London.
The underground rail called, the tube, is useful for travelling from one place to another especially while shopping. There are several restaurants that serve spicy and tasty Indian food in London.
English is the official language of both London and the UK.
