Ledbury is a historic market town, which lies on the Leadon River on the southern slope of the Malvern Hills in Herefordshire in England.
The town has a population of 8,837. There are a number of black and white half timbered houses and cottages from where one can enjoy the rural scenery of the surrounding areas.
The Big Chill music festival is held at the deer park at Eastnor Castle and the mountain bike race has also been held at the Mayhem Mountain in Ledbury since 1998.
The market house, built in the 17th century on massive timber columns, originally served as a grain house.
There are a number of events held in Ledbury all through the year such as the Ledbury Carnival, the Poetry festival, the new English festival and Britain in Bloom.
It has a chilly climate with a mixture of sunshine and cloudy weather. Be prepared for changes in climatic conditions as the weather here is quite unpredictable.
