Looe is a fishing port and tiny coastal town located in the Cornwall County in the Caradon District in England, UK. This small town is not very populated with 5,280 residents, as per the 2001 census.
The city of Liskeard is located 7 miles on the southern side from the town. On the other hand, the Plymouth city is located at about 20 miles on the west of Looe. The town is divided into two sub towns, which are West Looe and East Looe.
The towns are connected with each other via a bridge. This stretches across the River Looe, from which the town has received its name.
Since the town is located in the South-West region of England, it experiences maritime temperate climate. Due to this climate, the air is warm and moist. The maritime or oceanic climate brings milder summers and adequate precipitation.
