Bedlington Country Park
Bedlington Country Park is an amazing one on river Blyth’s northern side with picnic region and ‘children’s play region’. There are also pleasant nature and horse trails. The inner portion of the park contains a wide spectrum of wild life. Its area is 57 hectares; consisting of grassland as well as woodland. Local people and visitors have been walking through woods since several years. Bedlington Country Park came in to being in the year 1984 with the objective to protect this region’s uniqueness. It has been becoming increasingly important in the form of a refuge with regards to red squirrels; i.e. a species- the numbers of whose are seriously declining in the country’s other portions.
Timings
Bedlington Country Park remains open every single day between 0600 and 2100 hrs. It should be noted that on bank holiday also it is open.
