Newcastle International airport is located on the outskirts of Poneteland and is connected to many other airports through out UK. It is also known as the fastest growing regional airport. It helps over 5 million passengers commute every year. The Newcastle railway station was the first fully covered railway station and a lot of train services are available here. The light rail, Metro trains here are owned by a company called Nexus. They are well maintained and are widely used as a means of transport. Over forty million people make use of the Nexus services.
