A mix of culture - Newcastle-upon-Tyne

When you are in Newcastle don’t be surprised if you see someone who says he/ she has no religion, it is pretty possible. The city has 13 mosques while majority of the people are Christians and belong to nearly 70% of the total population. The people here love to listen to music. The largest music venue is the Metro Radio Arena and it has a seating of about 11,000 people. The Newcastle City Hall is also a place where people like to enjoy music and it has a specialty of conducting only solo performances. The city is home to one of the world’s longest running clubs.
