The major reason that earned Hambleton its popularity is its proximity to the Hambleton Hills which are a part of the North York Moors National Park in the eastern edge of the district. It is placed 20 degrees in the latitude toward south, which makes it enjoy a typical tropical climate. Hambleton faces a large population of 86,900 people as seen in a recent census.
