Manchester: Parks and Gardens

Heaton Park covers an area of 600 acres and is the biggest park in Greater Manchester. It is the biggest municipal parks in Europe. The park has the grounds of a Grade I listed, a Heaton Hall and neoclassical 18th century country house. The hall is open to the public as a museum and for events venue. This park is a huge family park which is owned by Manchester City Council.
