Neston is the jewel in the crown of the Wirral in Cheshire. One of the main attractions of the town is the Ness Botanic Gardens which got opened in 1898 and administered by the University of Liverpool. In the month of June, on the first Thursday, Neston celebrates Ladies Day. This is a unique marching day which has links to the Neston Female Friendly Society during the Napoleonic War.
There is also the cricket club which is situated in Park gate and plays in the Right Move Abroad Cheshire County Cricket ECB Premier League. These members of the Neston Cricket Club also play hockey, tennis, racquetball, squash and bowls.
There are new shop fronts and a new supermarket too on Brook Street. There is a Citizens Week which is sponsored to bring the community closer together. One can see the Burton’s Clock which is strange having only one hand.
There is the bird watching activity, the Briarfield Gardens, the Hadlow Road Station and the Ness garden which can attract visitors.
