St. Ann's Well Gardens and Café is located in the cities of Hove-Brighton, an historical place is connected with various myths.
One of the most famous myths is about Chalybeate Springs, which have a high iron content. Local people believe that St. Ann was not a saint, but was a Saxon Lady called Annafrieda. The springs emerged from the tears of Annafrieda, when she cried after the murder of her lover. These springs are now called St. Ann's Well.
The area surrounding the spring is a famous tourist attraction: visitors can visit various recreational facilities here. These include a café, rest rooms, tennis courts, playgrounds, lawn bowling and conservation areas. Tourists can take advantage of all these facilities.
The peak attraction is St. Ann's Well Garden. This garden has a magnificent variety of flowers, plants and mature trees. After experiencing the beauty of its surroundings, visitors can enjoy refreshments in the café in the garden.
